So we made it through the first week back to our normal routine and so far so good. I got the kids to school early each day last week so I was giving myself high fives all over the place. Lets hope this is the way things will continue and not just that surge of January good intent. Now all I need to do is stop eating the remainder of the Christmas chocolate and I will be totally back to normal.

My host post this week is all about communicating with my boys. My eldest is almost 8 and so you would be forgiven for thinking that I might have worked out this mummy to boy thing by now, but no…. It is very much a work in progress and one of the things I have been looking into and trying different things is in the area of communication. It turns out I am not just rubbish at this stuff, but in fact boys do communicate differently to girls and so I try to adapt my style.
